Faith, patience, and discipline—reflections on markets, gratitude, and ten years of serving our clients

Tuesday, December 23, 2025

As we enter the Christmas season and prepare to turn the calendar to a new year, we find

ourselves reflecting on just how much there is to be thankful for.

At Riverfront Capital Strategies, this year carries special meaning as we mark ten years of serving clients, families, and our community. Over the past decade, one truth has remained constant: our work is built on trust—trust that is given, earned, and stewarded with great care. We are deeply grateful to each of you who has allowed us to walk alongside you on your financial journey.

This past year, like most, reminded us that markets rarely move in straight lines. There were moments of optimism and moments of uncertainty—ups and downs that tested emotions as much as numbers on a page. Yet history continues to affirm an enduring truth: successful investing is not built on reaction, prediction, or headlines, but on faith, patience, and discipline.

  • Faith—to believe in a well-constructed plan even when the headlines are loud and the future feels uncertain.

  • Patience—to allow time and compounding to work in ways that are rarely immediate, but always powerful.

  • Discipline—to resist emotional reactions and stay focused on long-term purpose rather than short-term fear.

Scripture tells us, “Let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9) That principle applies far beyond finances—but it serves as a steady reminder that perseverance, guided by wisdom, produces lasting fruit.

As we celebrate the birth of Christ this Christmas, we are reminded that hope often arrives quietly, but changes everything. It is our prayer that this season brings peace to your heart, clarity to your path, and time to enjoy the blessings of family, faith, and fellowship.

As we look ahead to the coming year—and to the next decade at Riverfront—we do so with humility, gratitude, and renewed commitment to serving you with integrity, care, and perspective.

From all of us at Riverfront Capital Strategies, we wish you a Merry Christmas and a joy-filled New Year. Thank you for your trust, your partnership, and the privilege of serving you.

Blessings,

Jim Pannell,

Managing Principal
